Maybe its this way for most teams. But if its not Kimbrel coming in I am just waiting for the roof to cave in. Hembree is in the pen waiting to drive my heart rate through the ceiling. Our new lefty seems to be a bright spot. But the rest of them other than Kimbrel are heart attack material.

Much better to try to get the hitter to chase than to throw strikes? His thinking is if you don't get it over they can't hit it? What are our pitchers thinking?

At some point when does Dave take ownership of Kelly and Barnes ??? Do you honestly think Kelly or Barnes can survive in the playoffs ??? Then why in the hell are they in these high leverage situations ?

There is way too much hope that Thornburg regains his 2016 form IMO. If he isn't dominant, this bullpen is worrisome. Kelly and Barnes are more of 6/7 inning guys and shouldn't be pitching in such high leverage situations. They are very shaky and completely lose the zone at times.

Funny sort of...but that is what they did with Hembree last year. Just pitched him right into the ground. I actually like the guy. But I have no idea what he can actually be after what they did to him last year.

You always are insightful JB ...and this is no exception ...the warning siren is warming up on this bullpen you can here the humm ....Dave had to know this ....and if he didn't ....can his ass .Kelly and Barnes are 7 th inning guys no question ...they have no composure when the first zit shows up .

Let’s f***ing win this and go home 5-1. It was funny, but it’s enough. This is getting ridiculous against a bush league team.

Jung that's the point our offense is still paethetic and now we have a pitch count light on price and Sale ...we are looking at a disaster soon like a week if our bats don't wake up .

Watching Mookie, he would have won this by himself two hours ago. As I said, it was a mistake sitting him tonight.

I no longer look at this Marlin team as Bush league ...they are freaking scrappy and can pitch and field with anyone .

Well Hembree is going to be the guy at this point. I don't believe they have anybody left out there.

In the long run, they will be. If they win 70 games, I’ll be surprised.

Hanley! BTW LOL!

Odd time for a guy throwing 97-98 to drop a breaking ball into the middle of the plate.
