Our offense is horrible. We all knew it, and DD din't fix it.

We have seen teams with no boppers accomplish stuff in the playoffs! This group's pathetic! A bunch of stiffs!

Because you need him for game 3

This game isn't totally out of reach right now. But if E-Rod keeps playing like this it will be.

Maybe it's time to admit the Guardians last year and the Astros this year are just better. Name a position player for the Sox who would start for this year's Astros. Betts probably. Perhaps Vazquez, because he's better defensively than anything the Astros have and with the rest of that line-up they could carry whatever weakness he might have with the bat. Devers would probably still be at AAA in the Houston organization. I don't see anyone else that would be a regular in Houston.

Yes they're good teams but this team looks dead. I see no fight in them.

I fully agree Cleveland and Houston are much better but getting swept back to back seasons still shocks me. Not saying we have been swept yet but it's looking like a very good possibility. Considering we beat Houston 3 times in the regular season you would at least think we have the talent to give them a good series and win maybe one game..... especially with Sale and Poms pitching. Game 1 we looked horrible outmatched and it's starting to look that way in game 2 as well.

Why can't we compete with those teams? The pitching once again has been a joke for this team. We can blame the innings pitch or whateva but it's lame. This happens when you don't take care of business in the division and try to win it as early as possible.

Because Farrell sits everyone, and everyone is used to taking days off...there is no fight in a starting lineup that changes every day...every single day.

I have a feeling the Sox will trade some of their young major league talent for Stanton this off season and sign Hosmer for 1B.

The better team doesn't always win...but if you can't hit for power and your best pitchers can't pitch under pressure...going back to last year v. Cleveland...not much you can do. Francona goes to Bauer and gets a shutdown performance. Sox they go to...Fister? Ugh.

Cleveland will shut this offense down. That's the sad part.
