I'm telling you Farrell challenging that call on Devers and thereby delaying the game when we had a 3-1 lead and a starter is going great guns just shows how weak Farrell's situation awareness is. Challenging that call was like a Pavlovian response with no thought to it. Being wrong only made it worse.

Yeah, I'm not even close to a Farrell fan, but Hale was already on field arguing interference on Devers (I guess due to the pop up slide) and he ended up not challenging the play anyway. He didn't do anything wrong there

Sure was encouraging to see us put a crooked number on the board and to do it with a triple by Bogey, single by Devers and a HR by JBJ. That has to raise the Esprit de Corp of the team after such an awful long double header in one game last night. Maybe some guys will wake up a little and get the ball back rolling. Good chance tonight to pick up a half game on the Yankees with them postponed.
