Jesus this guy' giving up hits left and right. The flood gates have opened!

 

You really need to pay attention on what those hits are. A bunt (due to the shift), a hard hit double, a looper that landed in the infield where the shortstop normally plays (another shift hit) and a ground ball perfectly placed between Moreland and Holt. Not like he was giving up frozen ropes all over the yard.

Unbelievably stupid base running. That play was in front of Young and the third base coach should have been screaming for him to hold two and get back.

The theory was to force the cutoff and assure Benintendi scores, so it wasn't as dumb as a lot of them. Still, with play in front he should have seen that AB was going to make it home. Not a total boneheaded play but not a good one either.

Benintendi had home plate easily. The coach should have known that. It was a completely unnecessary out.

He gambled that the throw was going home.... and lost. A runner simply cannot do that unless he's sure the ball will go through. He's almost as well off at 2B as at 3B.

Yeah, normally you see the out on a guy going into second, not third.
