Went to a DH at Shea in 69 late in the year with my Pop, first game they had a kid named Nolan Ryan pitching, His 1st game. Had 13 K's and 7 BB's. He won. 9 innings.

My guess is that JFcreates about as much excitement in the clubhouse (or bench) as he might at a wake. Papi comes, laughs and jokes, hugs everyone in sight and the Sox get, what was it, 9 runs?

 

Add to that his benching of his two (current) best RH hitters against a 90 year old left hander. JOHN, THESE GUYS JUST HAD 4 f***ING DAYS OF!

Exactly and Porcello got off to a shaky start but his last handful of starts have been good. His last start was actually fantastic. But for whatever reason when we get good pitching we s*** ourselves offensively.

I think this run;ess streak has JF talking to himself. Pedroia should have hit for Leon; not for Lin. Whos has an OBP of over .400 (88 ABs is enough for me to make that choice) I think Farrell has to go. Oh, where are you Leo Duroche! (Or Casey Stengal!)
