ahahah....... I bet you could come up with a punk rock song for every situation in life........

who the hell are the Dickies....?

They were the best "new wave" band out of LA.

I saw them in Boston at The Paradise.

What is the hand signal they do after they get a hit?

They are dropping pinches of salt as an Italian chef does in an internet GIF.

I was in the first base standing room area when Kimbrel was pitching. I was about even with the pitcher's mound so Panda was directly in my view. On the line drive, I could see the he made a very quick cross over step and a dive to snare it. It was an excellent play, bu he was very slow to react on the bot he'd ground ball. It was awful. He just cannot play 3B anymore.

I was surprised at the number of Philly fans at Fenway tonight. As fans of a last place losing team, they aren't nearly as obnoxious as I had remembered.

I wonder if A700 is annoying everyone around him talking about small players and how we much he misses Ortiz....
LOL! I am pretty quiet at the game unless I am watching with a friend. I have no patience to discuss the game with pink hat fans who go there to chat about everything except the game. The crowds are about 80% pink hats these days. Edited by a700hitter

Wow, that is a really damning statement.

Maybe I should phrase that better........ than goodness we pulled that out of our asses against a s*** team........

I love the excitement from this team...... I think they are going places...

I completely agree. We played with grit despite getting s*** luck. We chipped away, tied it twice, then walked it off. The difference this year is the bullpen. I don't think we would've won this game last year. Our bullpen is superb, and it's a good feeling to have.

I'm glad they could pull out the win for you.

That was a semi crazy game the more I think about it

Good points Thunder.

1. It's Fenway Park.

2. It's in Boston, not Philadelphia. Both cradles for the Republic--Philly was where the 2d Continental Congress was in session--but over time Boston has become the better city, and I say that as an outsider who has never lived in or near either city.

3. It's time for summer fun, including driving to away games.

4. I feel confident they are still obnoxious at home games.

A great win, but I missed the last 3 innings. Semi-miraculous, given Porcello's horrendous start. Charge this win up to the bullpen and, as someone else has said already, gritty play in coming from behind.

It did not cost the Sox ultimately, but Jesus f***ing Murphy Pablow booted a routine chance with two outs to extend the inning.

If someone asked me to compile a tape of plays where Pablow proved he was not MLB ready my research could be concluded by looking at his last 4-6 appearances.

Is Merrero not available? Did he run or hit while I was smoking or something?

What in the actual f*** John boy? Try to use both neurons next time.

I am Pablo's biggest supporter, but I have to admit that even I questioned Farrell's decision to bring Pablo in to pinch hit, then especially questioned the decision to leave him in on defense. Farrell had a reasonable explanation, however, and as it turned out, it worked.

There is a method to his apparent madness.

Obviously I made my comment before he singled in the 11th. Notice he was run for by Merrero.

The guy is of such little value to this team. He is essentially a left bat to face right pitching as a pinch hitter. Can't field and can't run.

Useless.

It's been so sad to watch him fall. I loved watching him play in all those World Series for San Francisco.

Monday's win can be largely credited to A700Hitter's "At the Game" mojo.

I credit all of it to that, because in case anybody had forgotten, we were running on Thunder GT mojo

And that was the other reason. Porcello sucked last night and the team played down to the level of the Phillies. The credit goes to the both of us.
