So what's your preferred lineup 1-4?

3. Mookie

5. Pedroia

 

XB is on fire right now but not hitting for power. Let him set the table and get Pedroia out of the second slot to cut down on the DPs. When XB starts driving the ball out of the park or cools down, I would switch Pedrioa to leadoff and XB to the 5th spot.

We do need SOMEBODY who can make contact beyond the 4th spot in the order. Last night we needed contact and Moreland struck out. That type of s*** irritates me.

Pedroia has the least speed of the top of the order guys, so I would move him out of the second slot, because he is the easiest for the opposition to turn the DP.
