Do whatever you want to me. I got this. Tired of all you bums not believing in me. My mojo had a 3 game win streak last time out. I have as much of a right to be doing this as anybody else.

LHP Drew Pomeranz (10-10, 3.00) vs RHP Edwin Jackson (3-5, 6.26)

Pomeranz pitches against his former team, Jackson pitches against one of the few teams that is not his former team. Win. Dance. Repeat.

I am hoping for plenty of Don Orsillo.

In fact, if there will be the a ceremony to honor Ortiz I think it would be way cool for Don to be the on-field MC.

I am banking on that. It was probably the one thing he asked for all year, getting one day of glory to honor his former team's greatest hitter since Mr. .406.

I hate any game where Ortiz is not in the lineup.

Plus Ramirez at 1B against a righty. Plus Holaday catching. Plus a move last night from Oakland to San diego. Plenty to worry about today.

And there is always the Farrell stupid factor.

Gotta consider that of course. He sure looked bad in the top of the first--0 for 3 with a K.

And not anticipating the bunt by the leadoff hitter.

Apparently, the successful bunt was enabled by Pomeranz falling the other way on his delivery. I guess Farrell needs to get him to fall the other way, which of course would enable bunts to the other side. Or we can just say, "good bunt." Pomeranz, without any guidance from anyone, picked the same guy off 1B.

Or maybe you tell your first baseman to be alert to the bunt by the light hitting lead off hitter. Nah, Farrell has so much on his mind with sync'ing up his fitbit to his laptop, and trying to remember that Orsillo is no longer a Red Sox announcer. He has a lot on his mind. Let the players figure out the defensive positioning.

Mookie's showing a little fatigue. I'd hold him out of the Wed/ game. Give him a two day rest. Even send him to Toronto through home.
