I know what you mean. When Betts's numbers were struggling a little early in the season, I never felt like he should have been dropped in the order or given a day off. You could just tell by watching his ABs that he was doing everything right for the most part. Betts had that "It's only a matter of time" look to his game when his numbers were down. Bogearts has a lot more strikeouts when he doesn't have it; he either seems to get a hit or look bad. It's not all his fault though; I think he should have been given a day off a while ago.
