Pretty good intro. Dodgers have pitching edge tonight. Sox have struggled against lefties this year and tonight will probably not have HanRam or Big Papi. Lately Farrell has sat Shaw against lefties, but can't tonight. He probably won't play Benintendi in LF--Brentz instead. And Hill at 3B. Maybe: Betts, Pedroia, Bogaerts, Bradley, Leon, Shaw, Hill, Brentz, Wright. If HanRam plays, he will bat 4th, then Bradley, Leon, Hill, Brentz, and Wright.

A win tonight would be, for me, unexpected.

Kazmir's mustache negates any pitching advantage that he might have had. He's done.

I'm feeling 2 out of 3 against the Dodgers.

Let's go!

Well, I got that mostly right--just had Leon and Hill reversed.

Report: MLB investigating whether Padres were forthright with medical info in Drew Pomeranz trade

By Tim Britton

LOS ANGELES -- On Friday, a report from ESPN said Major League Baseball was investigating whether the Padres disclosed all the relevant medical information in a pair of July trades, including the one that sent Pomeranz to Boston. The report stated that the Sox have since "become aware of medical information that they believe was not properly disclosed during trade talks."

President of baseball operations Dave Dombrowski declined comment on the matter Friday. Farrell said Boston's understanding of Pomeranz's medicals has "given some guidance on how to use him inside of a game."

The Padres has been sneaky lately. Remember that this year Pomeranz is pitching the most inning in his carrer. Maybe there's something about that. It doesn't look too good for us.

Makes no sense calling up Benintendi just to have him riding the bench.

Tell me about it. It's another head scratcher in a long list of stupid decisions the Red Sox have made lately.

There is an unbelievable difference between Vin Scully and Mariners announcers. Its nice to have a tolerable announcer again.

I just switched over to your broadcast again to listen to Vin............. holy old school sound..!!!!

Haha yeah, this is definitely not something I'm used to but I like it, he's very insightful. Its odd to see one guy in the booth by himself.

Scully has a way of commentating that keeps the game interesting without being boring.

This is awesome. He gives you the feel of radio, but with the ability to see the game. I dig it......

Same here.......... does he always work alone? ??? I'd like to team him up with Remy or Eck...

Yeah, I'm pretty sure he's always worked alone, he also mentioned he's retiring after the season during this telecast, which sucks, he's a very unique announcer and the last of his kind.

Yeah I really enjoy listening to other teams announcers sometimes, its a nice mixup. I also like hearing what other teams are saying about our players and if they are educated or not. Dodgers and Angels guys were both solid.. Mariners guys blew.
