I honestly hope we beat the piss out of Price, but understand that a loss here would be the deathknell of the season for the owners and would signal a sell sign. Conflicted to say the least, but really hoping for that "Open for Business" sign to be out front of the stadium after the game

D, the funny thing is, we have prospects and they are blocked. In a perfect world, Refsnyder would finish the yr as a 1b, just so he can develop offensively. Bird would retake the position next yr and Refsnyder could move to 2b with Castro moving to 3b and Headley screwing. Sanchez would be our starting catcher. Judge (when his leg heals), would be in the OF. Jake Cave or Ben Gamel would be playing over Smellsbury. Severino would be back up as should Green with Eovaldi and Pineda moving on to some other team that thinks they can fix them. We have tons of relief prospects, and in another system, they'd be major league relievers. Time for them to get the shot. I want this team to tank. I want a protected pick. I want to see what the kids can do. I want to accumulate some more big league ready prospect talent.

Need to score some extra runs now

 

Shades.of the last couple games where it took about 5 innings to get some runs going. As long as Price keeps playing well we should be OK.

It was 2009 when the Yankees won the World Series against the Phillies. The 2001 World Series, although the Yankees were in it, they lost it to the Diamondbacks. Guy is an idiot and needs to shut up.
