TV broadcasts, non-Red Sox

The greates invention since the Apple, was Extra Innings broadcast network. Especially for old farts whose exercise consists of hobbling back and forth to the dumpster once a day).

 

Today the Orioles are playing the Dodgers and both feeds are available. One would have to be an idiot not to choose Vince Scully. No bulls--t from two other former players or would-be players. Just baseball. All by himself, and you don't miss a thing. As much as I like both Eck and Remy, a little goes a long way. I'll take a solo like Scully anytime!

Extra Innings is a wonderful thing. I don't know what I'd do without it.

 

I don't watch many Dodgers games, but listening to Scully is a treat. Unfortunately for me, all the Os games are blacked out on Extra Innings and so I have to watch the Os feed on MASN.

What's that got to do with Vin Scully? The games' the thing! Bottom of the 10th, 4-4. 31 strike-outs so far. Record for Dodger Stadium is 32. Routing for the Dodgers? You bet!

I don't really care about them one way or the other. I was just saying that they stink because they couldn't score one stinking run and beat the Os. They had plenty of chances.

 

I do like their manager though.

Roberts is the only thing I like about that organization. I don't mind Kershaw, either.

it's his final season. definitely the GOAT. a few times this season i have thought that his voice sounded like he's ready to retire.

i have had extra innings since '99 so have enjoyed dodgers broadcasts/Vin Scully for many years.
