With 2 outs you have to be off on the crack of the bat. Betts is a very fast guy.

He pitched like 3 innings against the Rays in a game IIRC, so he probably needed a few days off.. He has been another pleasant surprise so far though.

With the way that ball bounced off the backstop, I thought there was a fairly decent chance he could be thrown out. He is ridiculously slow.
