3/5 of the original starting rotation (buch, Miley, and Masterson) all pitched to their abilities this year. Porcello failed to be mediocre like he has been normally. Kelly was an unproven starter who was meh last year for the sox. Kelly should have no consideration for the rotation next year when the starting five are announced.

The rotation I think you could legitimately say underperformed based off of their prior year performances and overall career track records was the 2012 rotation. Lester, Beckett, and Buchholz all pitched poorly that year and they were three pitchers who had proven before they could pitch in the al east.

Where do you go and how do you get Castillo's stats hitting for the last two months?????

 

If you want a player's stats for any particular time frame, the best place to go is to Baseball Reference, then go to the player's game log.

 

Once on the game log, you can click on the starting date and the ending date that you want, and BR will calculate all of the player's stats for whatever period you selected.

I have to disagree. Masterson's velocity was terrible this year and he was horrendous last year. Also, Miley's era plus is actually better this year than last year. So, I think it's very fair to say Miley and Masterson pitched to their abilities.
