Oakland doesn't have a choice. They gut their FO and they'll never win. Beane has always seemed to find a way to be relevant 5 out of 10 years. That is hard to do when you cannot re-sign any of your talent

The big problem with the A's last year was their offense sputtered when it mattered. It seemed like it was a product of their completely awful pitching coach, Chili Davis.
