Sox fan in Texas....they're way too laid back down here. Sporting a Sox jersey on game day in the Bronx would get me a sack of nickels to the skull.

 

Anyway, gotta say I HATE Gomes in the leadoff spot....yeah, the guy's strength is drawing out at-bats, and he takes his share of walks, but there are much better options at the top.

 

Jake looking sharp since the leadoff double and pitching around Rios.

 

And, these homer, huckleberry Rangers announcers are what I put up with everyday....makes you long for the Remdog. These guys make Ken Singleton seem objective.
