I give all the credit in the world to the Tigers pitching... they're good... real good. But f***... Oakland had them on the ropes and our offense is light years ahead of the A's. Buch is so far pitching a bit better than Jon was last night. Lost in everything was the fact that Jon was far from having his best stuff last night. That was a tremendously gutty pitching performance more than it was a masterful pitching performance.

Like Brennan said about making adjustments...I think this team is being challenged in a way that they really have not been challenged all season. The plan has been the same game in and game out. Granted, the Tigers pitching has been outstanding. But the Sox are allowing the Tiger pitchers to lead them around by the nose and so far they just don't seem to be able to make the adjustments needed.
