Morales sucks. Period. Farrell shouldve been thankful he got away with using him for 1 inning, and instead he trotted him out there for another inning...

You can't keep giving the other team an opportunity in extra innings. Sooner or later you lose.

Their losses lately have been games like this.

As much as the bitch hit off Bres was not deserved, that bitch, seeing eye hit was deserved. That was a horrible pitch and a horrible choice of pitches. You have to be really sure of what you are doing to go curve ball there. If you hang it, chances are Davis is going to go yard. Even without going yard, with two outs and everybody running, all it took was a seeing eye single to score two. That was no place for Frankie and Salty to get cute. Should have tried to get Davis to chase a FB. That was just too easy.

Very dissapointing series after s***ing on the Yanks. And now the Rangers have guys on 2nd and 3rd but with 2 outs. That idiot Martin couldnt at least hit a ball to the outfield to bring in a run...

Farrell has not been faring well in close games lately. He had opportunities to win this game with some smarts.

Is the speedster Berry no longer with the club? The Sox had lead off hits and they did not have him run ... makes no sense to me

When? When Ortiz GIDP? When the Sox had the bases loaded and didn't score? When Drew GIDP? Exactly when did John Farrell have the opportunity to win this game? Was he supposed to pinch-hit? The players lost this game.

He did push his luck with Morales and got burned. He didn't run Berry. Instead he bunted taking the bat out of middlebrooks' hands (3 hits tonight) and leaving himself with an unfavorable lefty-lefty matchup with Drew. That is when the manager managed to lose the game... right there.

Ortiz really does have to learn to control his emotions better. Ever since that stretch where he appeared insistent that he was going to end that little mini-slump he was on with some gargantuan blast over the RF fence, whenever he gets into one of his moods its like he has got to hit some monster blast in order to be satisfied that he has gotten his way. He is such a great hitter that often all he has to do is make contact and take the ball back the way it came and its money....especially with the bases loaded. But no.... I wish he would just think for a second...you don't get that many opportunities during the course of a game...give me two runs and the rally is still going over some gargantuan tape measure shot any day.

Rays won. The Rays kept trying to give the game to the Rangers, but they refused to take it.

The Rangers choke a700. Thats what they do. Trust me I live here in Texas I've seen it first hand for the past couple years. f***. What a waste of a night...

The game would never have gone into extra innings if the Sox had scored during any of the chances they had in the first nine. Morales pitched well in his first inning, and Farrell chose to try to get a second inning out of him rather than work yet another pitcher.
