I'm not trying to be racist, but is it just me, or do black people in New England seem to be yankees fans or have yankees hats more often than white people? I'm really trying to figure this out, and I'm not joking about this.

No, I think thats definitely true, at least from what I see every day. Almost all of the Yankees fans who come into my job, or who I see in stores and at the bank or whatever else, are either black people or Hispanic people, while almost all of the Sox fans are white or, oddly, Asian. There are exceptions, obviously, but it does seem skewed by race, at least in my area.

I think you're talking more about the Steelers fans from Pittsburgh, and not the out of state fans like me. Yeah, I've been to Pittsburgh and have family in the area, and a lot of Western PA is basically Alabama. It's really sort of sad.
