I can take it in dosages....I think if I went to a Country Music Festival, I would be so depressed by the end....I would come out of there looking to load every chamber and play Russian Roulette

Luckily though, this inexpensive concert is going right over the radio stations' heads. If they started advertising it, the whole town would be filled up with cars from all over CT.

I used to dislike country music, but the last year or so I have done a complete 180 and now enjoy it. It's not exactly Beethoven, but most of the songs are catchy and easy to sing along with. One of the problems I've always had with music is the songs that I have to look up the lyrics to because they're so fast or the singer sounds like they're in the middle of brushing their teeth. Country music is easy to follow and likable for me.

That's a huge part of it as well. It also seems like country artists care a little more about the fans but that could just be my own personal bias.

One thing you will learn, grasshopper, is that finding parking for a concert is harder than getting Charlie Sheen sober. Especially when a-holes feel the need to take up whole spaces with one beach chair.

Same here, pretty much. I like Dwight Yoakam, Steve Earle, and Joe Ely...not too many overall. Martina McBride is a pretty awesome female country singer.

Schill, who I guess we don't like here, is right again. They do not score runs the ole' Red Sox way. Haven't all year. Except for Ells who is usually swinging as he is leaving the locker room, they all waste tons of pitches, draw walks and get past starters who they rarely abuse. Once they get to the middle relief guys, our hitters start to handle those guys. They struggle when they run into starting pitching that can get to....lets say at least the 7th inning cause that is pretty close to set up man and closer time.

You should go to the Big E. Biggest regional fair on the East Coast and it's f***ing awesome. It's starting soon, too.

I'll probably be wearing some kind of Red Sox apparel though. Either my Ells or Napoli shirt, a Nike Red Sox Nation shirt, or a hat.
