The mojo only works with positive vibes. If you're going to bring negativity, get the f*** out. It's Dempster, not Dumpster. He had a really good outing last time, and I expect the same tonight. The only person we're going to take a dump on is CC. Forsyth at the game mojo is also in effect, have fun buddy.

CC "fat f***" Sabathia(10-10, 4.66 ERA) That's his career worst in terms of ERA btw.

vs

Ryan Dempster(6-8, 4.50 ERA)

Fun facts:

CC has a 6.23 ERA in three games against the Red Sox this season

Today makes 17 straight days in 1st place

118 games we've either been in first or tied for first

This is a night game on ESPN, so we get to embarrass these punks on national TV and take the series. Sadly I work so I will not be watching. It's about time this team goes on some crazy win streak.

Anyone else tired of the sunday night games? It feels like there has been a ton of them lately, and next Sunday is an 8 o clock versus the Dodgers.

I guess I am not surprised that the networks have chosen to telecast these games. But it is a tough deal for the Sox who have to play a night game, then fly to the west coast tomorrow morning to play a game that very night. That is the part that really sucks for them.

Lets knock this fat ass around. HR's from Pedey and Papi contribute to a 8-0 win. Dempster has a 2 hitter, only 2 hits go to Soriano.

How's that for being positive?

SFF at the game mojo in effect tonight.

Oh yes. Have fun man. My at the game mojo is undefeated this year.

Are your seats any good?

Just looking at that lineup is a lot better than having Holt or Snyder penciled in at 3B. Middlebrooks has been hitting .435 and has a 7 game hitting streak since coming back. He has been able to produce a lot more than Snyder or Holt were for us. It will be interesting to see what happens when Bogaerts gets called up. I like the options of Middlebrooks and Bogaerts over Holt and Snyder at 3B. We have a real MLB caliber 3B, as opposed to career AAAA players in the lineup. I want to see Gomes and Pedroia go deep tonight. Pedroia is long overdue for a power breakout night.

Love the lineup. I think Nava can play first long term for this team if needed to. We'll get a good preview of that.

Speaking of 1B, I am sure other people are aware of this, but what blows my mind is James Loney. Thinking back to last season, Loney played 30 games with us. He hit .230 during that time. I was so glad that we did not resign him to play 1B. This year for the Rays he is hitting .310. He is a completely different player this year.

Because they told him to stop hitting home runs..he has become a singles or doubles guy

Loney's best HR year was 2007 at 15. He has had recent years of 10 and 12 and most recently, 6 and 4. So he was not hitting HR's anyway. He is not swinging at so many s*** pitches which means he is more often ahead in the count. That has made the most difference.

If part of the formula was giving up 6 bombs year...more power to them for making that trade off.

Just watching the ESPN pregame.....I just don't see how A-rat is not at least some sort of a distraction in that clubhouse. This is a guy that is an admitted PED user that has now ratted on who knows how many guys including at least one teammate and that is not a distraction? Hope he f***s them up royally and I hope the home skanks crowd boos his ass off when they get the next chance.

Olney says that XB call up is eminent. As usual, you can't rely on the Sox FO to give out the straight dope on anything. Claims that they are worried about the workload on Drew and that is a big part of the XB call up decision. Really FO. Drew's record against LH pitchers wouldn't have anything to do with that would it? What, Drew is only tired against LH pitchers? Actually whatever gets XB up here is fine by me.

Last game I went to was in June, before my GT mojo was horrendous.

Jeez you would think the networks would give the Sox a break and get this game going. But no, gotta' be 8:00 PM or nothing I guess.

And to make matters worse, I'm guessing the average time for a Red Sox-Yankees Sunday night game is about 3:45.

I despise the Sunday ESPN game time.

I don't see why you assume they are lying. Drew has played every inning for the Red Sox at SS for about a month. Holt can't play there.

Yes. If Nap were to get hurt or even left in 2014, I would stick Nava there if we couldn't find a full time replacement. I would rather have Nava at first than Carp.

He's a terrible fielder, has below average power, and can't hit lefties. He's a bench player.
