The Red Sox are heading to Houston to face the Astros. In the first game John Lackey faces Oberholtzer... the only guy in the majors who could could beat Lackey in an ugliest face competition.

John Lackey (7-8 with a 3.23 ERA)

Overholtzer -- 6 ER over 14 career innings in the majors.

Some fun numbers

Red Sox offense -- 564 runs (1st in AL and major leagues).

Astros offense -- 415 runs ( 14th in AL).

Astros pitching -- 576 runs allowed (30th in major leagues).

Red Sox run differential + 101 runs.

Astros run differential -161 runs.

Oh, and Houston just traded its ace and closer. I don't care, need World Series. Just win!

If I had a birthmark on my face like that, I would get a tattoo directly on top of it that looked like wires and various machine parts, so I could look like a Terminator that had part of its face ripped off instead of a dumb frat guy who tried to light his vodka on fire while he spit it out of his mouth.

Either that or nasty surgery scars on the other side.

To Pal's point both Lackey and Teixeira look like they belong in stables.

I would have traded my good looks to be a pitcher in the bigs.

Lackey's o-face is starting to freak me out.

Switched over quick to Cards/Dodgers during the commercial break. Did anybody catch Puig jumping on Agones about being slow as molasses around the bases? Puig had a triple wired with an RBI if it was anybody but Agones running. Agones stopped at 3rd and Puig nearly had kittens. Making all kinds of gestures to Agones out on the bases paths and really jumped on him in the dugout. Eventually they both ended up barking at each other big time.

I'm sure the old uptight baseball writers will complain about him showing a guy up and not respecting the game.

Gonzalez looks chubby. He has always been slow.
