Tied game and the Yankees have a better late inning pen. We are in the process of giving away this game.

One way or another, our FO is incapable to assemble a good BP.

I just hate to see us beating ourselves and we are doing a lotta' that right now. Better defense won't solve everything but we are starting to lose our identity a little bit. We can stop the stupid base running and improve the defense. Then we gotta' make moves to resolve the remaining issue....pitching.

We are pressing to some extent.

You cannot blame the FO for the bullpen. Going into this year the bullpen was considered the strongest part of the team. Injuries and inconsistency has been the problem. The FO puts the players on the field but at the end of the day, the players have to perform to their capabilities.

Right, because the FO hit Hanrahan, Bailey, Miller and Morales with hammers, and that's why they're injured right now. Please stop

That's exactly the problem. They always sign injure prone players. That's their foul. Stop excuses.

Who was injury prone besides Bailey?

Per your assessment, if a meteor crashed down on Fenway and killed the entire team, it'd be the FO's fault, and everyone who contradicted such stupidity would be "making excuses". Please stop.

The most annoying thing about watching Salty from the right side is that he never tries to dump that pitch into right field. If Salty hits the ball to right from the right hand side it is by pure accident.

Drew is injury prone and he sucks. He's a double meteor.

Jeez that half inning has me sick to my stomach.

Holy s***,,,how do you come out of the ASB like this. It is almost uncanny how often Sox teams, this year, any year come out of the break playing like s***. This is the part of the game that traditional Red Sox Management has never been good at and it is like they follow each other right into the same gutter every year. This is also why I hate guys like Madden and Showalter. Those guys don't ever seem to miss the opportunity to gear their teams up physiologically.

It is like those teams came out of the break, loose, ready for a fight and we came out of it tight, pressing and mistake prone.

We have plenty of examples mainly through last years. Of course he always wear those pink glasses.

This BP has. 4.0+ ERA. No 22 in all BB.

There is not a single pitcher on the bullpen roster right now with an ERA over 4 right now. The overall number is skewed because of garbage time pitchers, like Aceves and Hanrahan who will probably never pitch for the Red Sox ever again.

No i don't wear pink glasses. I'm just not stupidly unreasonable.

It's simply for me to admit that both Bailey and Drew have been turds, and that Salty is not a starting catcher. But saying the BP was not well assembled is idiotic. No one could have predicted this injury barrage. No one.

No idea why ESPN hasn't figured this out by now...
