Very common practice to try to take the extra base by Drew to draw the ball away from a play at home with two outs insuring that the run scores. Looks bad but that is a very common way to play that since you are willing to give up the out to get the run with two outs.

I actually think he can put up solid numbers this year. Like actually having a decent OBP. I was just thumbing through his stats the other day for shits and gigs and saw that in 2012, he made some noticeable improvement but what kept his numbers down was a BABIP that was around 40 points lower than in 2011 despite his LD% being better than in 2011. He also had an above average walk rate. I think he was better than he got credit for last year and I think this year's performance might be sustainable.

I love it, I'm in a work pool for lowest run total for the season, and a girl that I'm against has the Red Sox this week and I have the White Sox. So as long as Boston outscores the White Sox this week I'm happy.
