I'm not sure if I've ever done a GT. I've thought about it but I guess I'm too lazy.

No, the policy has always been that no matter what happened, a loss ends the reign. Besides, I want to get a little streak of my own at some point, so I call next GT. Hopefully not for a while, though, the Sox have a hell of an easy schedule coming up.

 

I agree, but some anxious poster will beat you to it unless you post it right after the inevitable loss that won't happen for some time.

That has been the only weak spot for Naps so far this year. He can be beaten upstairs. However he is as good a low ball hitter as some LH hitters.

Seems like only Buccholz has put away stuff with any 4 of his pitches.

Gomes has actually taken all this pretty much in stride. Nothing has worked out like he thought it would. Initially they were going to see if he could hit RHers in an effort to determine if he could play every day in LF. None of that has even come close to happening and he is really right back where he has been...riding pine for the most part. Not getting enough AB's to knock off the rust when he finally does get in there. Not sure there is any other way for the Sox to play it regardless of what their intensions might have been.
