One of the funny things...maybe not so funny about Felix is that the word is that he takes too long to prepare to pitch to be in the bullpen...it is start or nothing...yet he shows up outta' shape and looking like he is unable to maintain through the 6th????

 

I do not understand how or why professional sports players can get out of shape. Their job is to be tremendous athletes! I understand pitchers just need to pitch and not run around a lot but it's like, c'mon. Show some effort. How much do you freaking earn?

Part of me doesn't even want to see David Ortiz come back....

 

I wanted them to flush out the turds for the last 1.5 years.......maybe its just time to move on, I will cringe the first time he bitches about somethign to the media.

Naaaaah,,, I want fat slob, overpaid ******* Beckett telling me how much more important his family is than baseball and AGons telling me the travel schedule is killing him...and the left field wall made him do it...no the shoulder made him do it....no God made him do it! Those guys were much more fun than these guys.

But when things are going well, Ortiz brings a great attitude to the team. I think with all the new blood, he won't be bitching about missed RBI.

I did handstands the day they traded away Josh Beckett.......

 

I knew at the time what it meant for the rest of the season to make that trade, but I didn't care.......I couldn't stand that *******.

I was just pissed that we signed Beckett to that extension in the first place.

 

That extension started a succession of bad FA moves, signings and what have you that are almost epic bad from a historical perspective. In his later years Theo is probably going to claim that 2010 and 2011 have slipped from his memory banks.
