Baseball is a funny sport lol. CC gives up four runs today, Kazmir gave up four runs yesterday, and Phelps gave up zero runs yesterday. Quite remarkable, considering how all three pitched. Flukey results in small samplings, I guess.

 

Anyway, this was easily CC's best start of the year. Two good ones in a row is encouraging, for sure. Also, considering that Rivera and Robertson have both pitched the last two days, I wonder if CC goes back out for the 9th.

And Phelps gave up the same 4 runs in 1/3 of an inning in his last start. It's crazy how a pitcher can go from a perfect game to getting ransacked (ie Phillip Humber and prob a dozen others) and how so many HOF pitchers are frequently on the result of massive beatings.

How the hell did you reach that conclusion from him signing an extension with the Mariners? Did it ever occur to you that maybe he thinks the Mariners will eventually contend? How do you know what he thinks? Are you a mind reader?
