EDIT* Haha, bronze costs $.33 an ounce. I'd rather buy a pound of it, and make my own medal than play in that game.

It was nice to see Rask get the shootout. Always like seeing the Bruins players do well, regardless of what side they're on. I'll be rooting for Bergeron tomorrow.

So I just read that the Bruins represented 5 countries in Sochi, but I can't think of the last one. I know about Canada, Slovakia, Sweden and Finland, and Bergeron, Chara, Eriksson, and Rask, respectively. Who am I missing? Edited February 24, 2014 by Thunder

Rich Peverley collapsed during the Stars game and needed a "cardiac procedure" to regain consciousness. I wonder if he went into VTach or VFib and needed defibrillation. Needless to say, he isn't seeing the ice any time soon. Good luck to him

Hockey is the sport to watch right now! The Bruins have won 11 in a row and will be sole possessor of most points in the NHL if they win tonight.

 

Seidenberg is recovering faster than expected and it's not impossible we will see him return to play in the Stanley Cup Final or a little sooner.

Yeah, Bruins finished first overall and Detroit barely made it.

Bruins need to wake up. They coasted into the playoffs.

Game 1 was a coin flip. Detroit's only goal came right after the Bruins came VERY close to scoring (the puck went through the goalie but went just wide on our shot). Right after we missed, Datsyuk took it past everyone and scored.

Now that was the Bruins playing yesterday. If they play like that some more they will go deep into the playoffs.
