Bourn still in FA limbo because of the draft pick the signing team would have to give up. The players union can't be happy what the new FA rules have done to some of their players.

It does seem to have screwed some guys. Wouldn't blame it all on that though, also a Boras client. It's interesting though, it seems the new FA rules have done something to Boras clients.....they aren't worth as much as he thinks and a draft pick. I'm interested to see how this plays out. I'm still sort of surprised the Nats bit on Soriano.

The Nats were very late in the draft though-- 28th or 29th. They'll be competing for a World Series next year so it makes sense.

On paper the Nats have the best team in baseball. They don't have a lot of holes.
