The fence lines are what are different between old and new especially between the foul pole and the power alley in right. The fence line for new Yankee stadium is anywhere from 9 to 5 feet closer than in the old park. Left field is so close as to be not worth mentioning. Center is actually a bit farther back in the new park but that is always a poke anyway. The new park favors the weaker LH hitter ala "the house that Granderson built".

You guys overexaggerate the stadium's effect on him. A lot of his homers are into the second deck here. I'd probably say 3-4 of them are Yankee Stadium specials. Most of them are right down the line, which is a homer in most stadiums anyway. The real spot where the Yankees get more of their homers is RCF. And Granderson usually pulls his right down the line

Morales is improving. He froze up realizing who he was pitching to about half way through Jeter's first at bat in the first inning of the last game he pitched against the Yanks. This time he made it through a whole batter.

Not really his fault though. He is young and has been thrown to the lions based on the magnificent planning of the Sox FO.

I actually think I have seen more funky fielding by pitchers this year than I am used to seeing. Maybe the AL pitchers are petitioning for a Designated Fielder to go along with the Designated Hitter....some guy standing there by the pitcher's mound that jumps into the play whenever there is a play to be made. They will have an ump toss a green flag onto the field giving the DF the go ahead to jump into the play.:D
