We are 1 for 8 tonight with guys in scoring position for guys that want to argue that these guys do play well together as a team. In fact I just don't know what the argument is anymore. They are not even a 500 team anymore.

I said it all along with Melancon. The kid has good stuff, he has a knockout curve and when he wants to, he has a really good 2 seamer. But in the bright lights, he tightens up the ******* and either tries to K everyone with a 4 seamer or gets pussyfooted and throws all curves. He was at his best in the Yankee minors when he ran the two seamer in there on hitters counts and got groundball after groundball. He's a mental f***up and the Stros turned him around into one of the better SS's in the NL. The sox need to try and rebuild his value in AAA, cause I guarantee he gets picked up by a team like KC and he thrives. Put him out of the spotlight and he actually stays within himself. Put him in the limelight and he sucks ass

Beckett looked sharp for how many innings? Give it up please....just give it up. The only question on Becket is if the Sox will have to pay his salary and give the other team some sort of signing bonus for taking him.

He had a good outing if you diregard the two Home Runs and all those runs in the 5th inning on all those bitch hits and bad umpiring. Looking at it that way, he had a scoreless outing.
