This ump doesn't give many knee high strikes, either to Porcello or Cook, and that does not bode well for Cook. He needs that call to be effective. If not, he gets torched.

poor us if we have to trot out Cook to the mound every 5th day.

It's amazing how you can post basically the same thing lesterkett did, and yet with your phrasing, I lack the urge to shove a lit M-80 up your nose.

It is staggering to me how much crap off the plate the Sox swing at....they should be pounding this guy.

i wonder how this Sox team is going to stack up against others for K's for the season. I have a bad feeling about that one.

I'm just worried about Texas coming into town after them. Thats gonna be a tough one.

Texas is struggling. But that could also just be LA heating up. Either way, it should be a good series.

LA is absolutely destroying them. The games haven't even been close.

Cc if you suck next year, I'm officially join the region of fans that hates you. The least you could do is actually contribute if you're getting way overpaid.

I like to consider myself a Crawford fan. I loved watching him play in TB, and he was always so exciting both in the field and on the bases. I was alright with him coming to Boston, because paired with Ellsbury at the top of the lineup, we should've had more speed than almost anyone.

But now? He looks like he's put on 20 pounds and is completely lost out there. Where is that confident, aggressive player we all watched torch us for years? There's no way the last 2 years can be completely caused by injury.

Go to the DL, get the surgery, rehab in Ft Myers, work with a hitting coach that will fix that horrid stance, and come back better than ever next year.

Look at the bright side' date=' the team haven't balked in really long.[/quote']

 That's sticking it to the naysayers.

Hmm, what else?

No one has been hit by a batted ball

The Sox haven't been no-hit

No one has been busted for DUI this season

Bobby Jenks was just a week too early on his DUI! Damn him

It's not too soon to say CC is a bust. His at bats make me want to kill babies.

He gets 2013 from me and after that, f*** him. Honestly if someone wants to take him off our hands in the offseason, I'd go for it if we were getting decent value in return. Even if he returns to form, he isn't worth 20 million a year.

I disagree, especially given the fact that he may still be injured. I would rather have missed him this entire season and had him back hale and hearty in 2013 instead of rushing him back at the ASB and getting this abortion.

I sincerely believe he can rebound from this season and play for the Sox next year like the guy they were supposed to get.
