Everytime he's been in the show, he's been above .300.

Saying "never" isn't correct.

ML = Minor League. Sorry I wasnt clear about that.

I agree to ride the streak out, but thats all it is....is a little hot streak.

Morales looks really good again. Really good.

I think he may have been a bit nervous on his NYY start because his stuff was just pure s*** that start. He has much, much better stuff now.

And the bankee$ come back and take the lead.

I think they just put the HGH directly into the Gatorade coolers at this point, I have never seen so many old has beens get better in their old age.

LOL!!!!

Jeter was 18 in Single A.

Ciriaco is 26.

I am going to pretend like you didnt post that.

I'm just saying, and without knowing which player(s) had not so great minor league careers that ended up being better than average in the majors off-hand.... But, I would hope you could see what I was getting at...there's probably been hundreds? Of guys who's minor league numbers weren't "amazing" that had good to better than good MLB careers ....

Again, I'm not saying ciriaco is " one of those guys " just saying, can't always judge a book by its cover

Gomez's timing is WAY off.

That leg kick comes up way too early, hes out in front of offspeed pitches and pulls away from the outside part of the plate.

It doesn't happen often. If you don't perform in the minors, you have almost zero shot of making the majors. BTW, Derek Jeter was promoted to all minor league levels at the age of 20, squashing all competition and was in the majors at 21. No comparison.

Middlebrooks is owned by Hellicksons change up. He cannot stay on it.

Hellickson's delivery is as smooth as Mark Prior's was. I wonder if he also uses the inverted "W" which is a career killer.

That's why you bat him second to get fastballs.

Pitchers are good enough that they can throw their change ups for strikes in any count at any slot in the lineup. Middlebrooks needs to work on them anyway. He needs to be able to sit on it if he's going to be successful.

An auspicious showing, I'd say

for the beginning of second-half play

It just sucks, is all

to see them play ball

in that shithole they call Tampa Bay

Hate that fk'n dome.

Comparing Hellickson to Mark Prior

I'm afraid that might make you a liar

no one could constantly flub

like he did with the Cubs

No one's injury rate could be higher

I still can't believe they play baseball there. Its a f'n hockey rink! TB Lightning used to play there.

Pitching Mechanics/Delivery. Thats where the comparison ends. Would you rather me compare Jeter to Ciriaco?

Stop that limeric nonsense!

Was he pitching his product? He was just selling it with Jerry and Don.

Gabe Kapler has an idea to sell

It's his brand-new "Red Sox Hotel"

All of the floors are reversed

so the top floor is the first

but good luck getting there, there's no door
