Crap Pumps' date=' didn't know. Best of luck and God bless you.[/quote']

No problem Brennan. I am doing OK. Wish for good luck for Youk.

The point of that is that this is ONLY A DAMN GAME and its ONLY AN INTERNET FORUM conducted with people that no one really knows. Lets just keep it in perspective and stop s***ing on one another here when THE GAME goes bad. Each of us is a real person with real problems, and there are far more important things in this world than THIS. If we fans can come in here to escape some of the BS that goes on in real life then this place has some value. If we come in here and dump on one another its much less fun.

Now thats is the last I want to discuss it here.

The Yankee announcers mentioned that Lowrie was traded for Melancon and then mentioned Reddick and proceeded to hammer our FO about lots of moves, and deservedly so. They have done a terrible job for the last 3-4 years.

Don't know if this was your reference point Native but I could not help but think of the guy in the bleachers in that movie, Major Leagues...as the ball gets creamed off of Charlie Sheen he says "to high" hoping it won't make it out....his buddies just won't let him up off the canvas after that..."to high....what does that mean"

Haha, yeah. That was a great movie. I have it in my movie collection.

Kidd just signed with the Knicks.

That is old news...heard that yesterday.

Celtics still need to defend the rim better.

Bradley is going to be something else IMO.

If more TalkSox members met each other at a game or for a drink or just for a few minutes to say hello there would be more mutual respect shown here. When people meet each other and there is a realization that there is a real person on the other side of cyberspace, things wouldn't get so nasty.

The only reason they wont let Pete Rose in the HOF is because they know that the bankee$ are gonna have to keep Jeter playing till he's older than Julio Franco was and they are hoping he will have collected enough bitch hits to surpass Pete by then. If he does, they will let Rose in. Too bad he will be dead by then.

I agree. It's a lot easier to be nasty on the Internet.

I agree 100%.

I have met Fred and Muggah (remember him?) and both are good people, real people. Maybe we should have a thread for that purpose. There are so many of us.

I still want to see a forum where mods don't rule according to personal feelings and biases though. It's freedom of speech, one of the last freedoms we have at this point.

Honestly Native.....I usually hope for the run at a time approach probably more than anybody here but we have done so poorly in these tight games lately I think we need a dinger with guys on.....so take that you Native you.....just didn't want you to feel left out of the snarlyness.

The problem Doc is that unless we utterly fail we aren't going to see any change. If there is some modicum of success our FO will be able to make excuses. Only through utter failure can real change occur.

I have to agree with you on this.

This whole thing is just frustrating and has gone on for too long now. As dedicated, committed fans we deserve better than this. And the sad part is that I feel the FO and ownership do not have a firm grasp of how frustrated the committed fans are with this. It's been nearly 3 years without a playoff appearance for an organization and a fan base that EXPECTS to win. The commitment is both financial and personal on varying levels with the fans.

Perception off the field shows a lot and this organization has absolutely failed in that aspect in recent times to add to the misery on the field. And that perception comes off as non-committed, unaware, and unaffected by whatever happens.
