I can't believe what I've been watching on this West Coast trip.

 

The lack of offense is beyond ridiculous and better not be an issue this weekend.

Nick Punto could get a timely hit against the Twins (not likely, I know) or Aviles against the Royals, it doesn't mean they were bad trades or releases for those teams. (Especially since Punto sucks). Statistically even the worst player in the majors, given the ABs, is going to get a few hits. Trading Reddick was s*****. They should have kept him and re-signed pap. Not trade a good young outfielder for an injury prone closer.

What I can't seem to fathom is the Sox struggles on road trips further west than Kansas City. This has been an issue for several years - so it can't be blamed solely in the perceived lack of talent this year's team has. The other Eastern and Central teams have to make these trips too.

He gave it a ride, but just not enough on it. Nothing to be said about this west coast trip, except that things to change. Let's go back East and win the series against that worthless team we have to play.

Unacceptable. I don't care how many issues this team has.

 

This road trip was an absolute disgrace to watch.

 

As a baseball fan, about the only thing worse to watch than a perpetually losing team is a talented team that manages to beat itself on a regular basis.
