And we're about to lose the series 3-1.

 

I hope Beckett gets up and chews the s*** out of Ortiz/Gonzo/Pedroia et all like Ortiz did to the pitching. That's unacceptable.

Same thing happened when the Rays came to town, they threw him nothing but changeups.

 

He adjusted then. He'll adjust again.

Punto is only in there because Aviles was a late scratch. I agree with the sum of what you are saying, but those types of hits tend to go through more times than not.

All I said is that Punto stinks. Having him up with the bases loaded is as close to an automatic out as there is. I know now why he is in there, but that doesn't change the fact that he should not be on this roster at all.

That is exactly my point. We have no one to pitch in a one game playoff who really stands much of a chance of beating the other team's top SP. Who do we have to go up against Price or Weaver or Verlander? No one.
