I dont have an issue with this, Youk had no idea Castro wasn't going to know what to do with the ball.

 

Castro made it close by not knowing what to do, had he flipped to the 3B at 2B Youks take out slide was justified.

Add Kalish to the OF mix. Ultimately, they should want Kalish-RF, Ells-CF, CC-LF. That's all Left handed hitting, but a hell of an outfield speedwise. Then they have Ross, Nava, Sweeney, McD and Pods. Has to be a trade when CC and Ells come back.

I'd say this is actually probably the plan. Except I think CC will play LF. That's a pretty extreme shift the way you have it

 

All joking aside, I don't think the Sox mind having an all LH outfield, especially now that Ortiz has been mashing LHP again, and Ells basically has no split. It's not like it's significantly weaker, and with Cody Ross in the mix, he can get some games in against tougher LHP.
