Last year, he went through a spurt of 41 games from 4/22 - 6/8 when he hit .212/.325/.279.

 

He went back to Boston in the 3rd game of the NYY series and got his knee checked out, turned out it was fine.

 

Then from June 10th to August 3rd (47 games), he hit .393/.463/.663.

 

He always goes through a really cold spell right before he gets white hot.

I'm really not sure what to think of that strike out. That wasn't so much a great pitch as it was a really bad swing. Set him up for it well, though.

Nice pick Pedey. I don't think hot and cold have much to do with swinging throw so many pitches. We are not used to seeing Pedey swing through so many pitches and they may just be asking a lot from Pedey right now.
