Gonzalez, Ortiz, and Youkilis need to learn to sprint down the god damn first base line. I am tired of seeing them jog. I know there is no way in hell they are that slow. Give a little effort. Gonzalez should have beat that throw out last inning.

As far as Bard goes....has a solution so far to the RH hitters...as good a slider as I have seen from him this year...he is up in the zone to the lefties so far though....not every pitch but enough of them.

 

He will give up some runs to these guys if he stays up in the zone to these guys.

As good as he is I doubt it. Big contracts to pitchers are risky enough. I think he'd get paid but not 300 mil.
