Whether it will be a good move will depend on who does better the rest of the way. And no one has answered for me who will piggyback on Doubs when he hits his innings limit. That was supposed to be Morales who also on an innings limit.

 

I am not happy with a deal just because we made a deal. Everyone else is getting guys for bags of balls. The Yanks got Ichiro for no major leaguer, a couple minor league slugs and they don't even have to pay him.

But Ichiro sucks. As for the rest of the deals, most of them were made for minor leaguers with actual talent, so i don't understand how the deals are made "for nothing". Why talk about a subject you know nothing about?

Most of the guys getting picked up for what you call nothing are outfielders. We don't need outfielders. If Ben could've gotten a good starter for nothing, he most certainly would've done it.

Yes but we think Breslow has tremendous upside. We plan on moving him into the rotation next year where he should be a steady back end of the rotation starter for us. Where have we heard this one before?:D

Well, Theo chickened out of dealing with the Yankees. The Rangers are desperate for starting pitching.

I'm surprised they didn't bite on Beckett. But they probably wanted a rental like Dempster, since their problem right now is injuries.
