Phillies offense has been really poor this year, reckon they might fancy Youk?

I don't think they can move Youk at this point. I think they should just hang onto him and work to see if something could be done but I would not try to push something if I were them....they won't get anything for him.

 

At this point they should see if they could get Youk hitting again at least some. It would give them some offensive flexibility that might come in handy. I think that is all there is at this point.

Felix didn't do half bad tonight. The Royals are a bit underrated now because of a 12 game losing streak. They're probably going to finish up third in that division.

 

In lieu of an actual good performacne I'll take the fact that Doubront can recover from getting roughed up, get some outs and save the bullpen.

Just to keep it real, yes, Middlebrooks looks great and he is hot right now. He is a rookie, and pitchers will be probing to see where his weaknesses are. He probably won't be able to keep this up. Sure has a lot of upside from what it seems. I remember when Daniel Nava came up and was crushing the ball for us too. Now look at him.
