Aviles is the best thing to happen to us at SS since Nomar/OCab circa 2004.

Encouraging to see the Sox hitting this guy. He is a mean average to good left hander, finesse pitcher. The Sox have to be able to generate offense against these kinds of pitchers or their goose is cooked.

 

Not an impressive showing so far by Buch though regardless of the lack of runs. The A's are putrid.

Aviles has always had decent range going left. It is his range going right that has always been an issue. This year it will likely be something more of an issue because there is no help to Avlies' right side either.
