After all that, the White Sox only scored one run. I used to think Bard was destined for the bullpen, but after he survived through that inning.... I don't know. Great composure there.

Gonzalez takes exactly the same approach as Ortiz at the plate. Swing at early strikes, become more selective as the count becomes deeper. I've been following the guys since San Diego, and he's been successful with that approach. I don 't understand how anyone here can think they have an "approach that works better" for Gonzalez.
