I think at this point we can assume its going to be tough for Kalish to provide anything this season. Ellsbury and Crawford will obviously start, and will be up to what people do between now and When Jacoby returns to see who stays on the roster.

He was hitting .333/.347/.576 from the leadoff slot coming into the game tonight. A 3 hit game with 2 doubles and a HR only enhanced those numbers. His average has bumped to .389, and I'm too lazy to calc the other numbers, but suffice to say he's likely OPS'ing over 1.000 from the leadoff slot.

The offense was never a problem. Coming into tonite we were fourth in the AL in runs scored and third in OPS.
