It is April. His hallmark is giving innings and showing good location. He has shown solid stuff as evidenced by his 15K's in 12IP, but his location has been off. Walks and pitches into the middle of the plate. This wouldnt be his first s***** April with the team and it likely wont be his last.

Our 6 games in a nutshell

 

Game 1- Mo blows it

Game 2- Kuroda sucks, Girardi gives up, Yankees come back but not far enough

Game 3- Handled by Hellickson

Game 4- Nova owns, Yankees roll

Game 5- Bullpen throws 7.1IP scoreless, offense just good enough

Game 6- CC serviceable, pen shutdown again, offense comes through in the 10th.

BTW, was just looking through some stats. The Yankee pen has been on point thus far.

We obviously cannot continue to use the pen at this rate, but as CC and Kuroda go deeper into games, we should see them continue to dominate. I hope Phelps continues to stay in his role. I like his attitude and his stuff

I got to watch the first 4 innings. That was the Kuroda we saw in ST. Every pitch was on point, great movement and pinpoint location. I think he was a very underestimated acquisition

Once Pettitte is ready whoever is pitching the worst will be moved, they plan on bringing him in sometime next month.

He's the most obvious choice for demotion when pettitte or Pineda are ready. But I think he should be in the rotation until then. He reminds me of Tim Hudson. Fast worker, strike machine who works everything around a sick 2 seamer. I knew he had a good arsenal, but I was not aware of how good his 2 seamer was
