Jose Reyes has agreed to terms with the Miami Marlins, according to Dino Costa of SiriusXM.

Terms haven't been disclosed, though we know Miami made a pair of large offers to Reyes and Albert Pujols over the last week. Jorge Sedano of 790 AM The Ticket in Miami reported earlier that Reyes signing with the Marlins is "almost a done deal." Both reports haven't been backed by the club's beat writers -- yet. Reyes was seeking a Carl Crawford-type deal (seven years, $142 million). If the reports are indeed true, Hanley Ramirez would likely shift to third base next season. Reyes is coming of an impressive .337/.384/.493 campaign with the Mets.

What!! No one is making moves yet. It's not even Thanksgiving.

Ben the Boob is rumored to be expanding his managerial search to Japan and the far east. He wants to get the best puppet possible.

He better wake up and soon.

I do not buy that crap that still this is November and we have to wait till February or something in order to make a move... As soon as the team is assembled, the team would defenitely be in a better position to face the next season in any aspect.

I'm not sure if our FO has that clear how they gonna fill the needed spots and/or at least already planed the 2012 offseason strategy. I hope so.

While our team is spending time calling Sizemore's agent, dealing with Theo's compensation and interviewing a lot candidates for the manager job and not protecting our value assets (like Papelbon), other teams have begun filling their needs.

Wake up Cherington. Sizemore, the manager, etc, are not our top priorities.

Holy s***! Why didn't the Red Sox get this guy? They should have traded for Melkey Cabrera too. Ben the Boob is a complete failure.

Great nickname "The King" has come up with for Ben huh?

Report of Reyes signing with Marlins premature

By Evan Brunell

Despite a report by SiriusXM's Dino Costa saying Mets shortstop Jose Reyes was a Miami Marlin, CBSSports.com's Scott Miller reports that no deal has been reached yet, according to sources. Costa has already backed off his report, saying that Reyes will only be a Marlin provided Hanley Ramirez agrees to move to third base.

Earlier reports did have Reyes closing in on a deal with the Marlins, who have come out guns ablazing as they move into their new stadium next season. However, for Reyes to sign so quickly would be premature, and Miller notes that while the Marlins really want Reyes, Miami has not closed in on any deal.

For Reyes to sign with the Marlins, a spot at shortstop needs to be freed up. That's where Ramirez comes in, who has to agree to move to third -- or possibly center field -- to make room for Reyes. Earlier this week, Ramirez did not sound keen on making such a move.

Reyes hit .337/.384/.493 in 126 games for the Mets in 2011, missing time with hamstring issues but still swiping 39 stolen bases.
