Yeah its totally MLB's fault the wheather turned for the worst.

Yes! Brilliant sarcastic comment, without thinking through what I meant!

It's their fault for beginning a game when rain was coming immediately after the start. They should have held off.

If you do that' date=' you still can keep a 3 man rotation if you go to CC and Nova on short rest. But, the likelihood is that we throw Colon in game 4 and then go to CC on short rest in game 5[/quote']

Couple things.

If CC felt like he could physically do that, I'd be in favor of it. But it's not happening ... Girardi seemed certain Garcia would start.

And it won't be Colon. He's not even on the roster, and Joe has this strange faith in AJ. He talked about him starting a potential game five in case of rain outs, and starting in the next round if the Yankees get there. Assuming they play tomorrow, the rotation is going to be Nova-Garcia-CC-AJ-Nova.

I saw a lot of Yankee fans on the Long Island Rail Road coming back from the stadium at midnight. They looked miserable. That made me happy. I hope it rains tomorrow and they play until 3 a.m. and there are 4 or 5 delays. I am also happy that many game 2 ticket holders are getting screwed over by the game getting moved to Sunday night. What a shame.:D

Raining once again. 4-0 Tigers in the 8th. I imagine they'll try to finish it up' date=' but it's coming down hard.[/quote']

Nice that it wasn't a significant delay.

Yeah' date=' the NYY are known for throwing in the towel by the 6th:rolleyes:[/quote']

No, they're known for doing that in the 8th.

Also, I didn't say anything about throwing this game. I said series will be tied by game's end and I stand by that statement.

Way to go Tigers. Valverde made it interesting in the 9th.

There VA, happy?

Not even luck could save these Yankees.

Luckiest team in history. Period.

It takes more than 'luck' to end the season with the best record in the AL while also being in the toughest division.

Nobody is arguing that. Not me anyway.

I'm just saying the Yankees are lucky because things go their way 3 out of 5 times on any particular game.

Not afraid of Valverde. Good to see the offense wake up too late. So be it. We gotta get this back to the bronx

Agreed, CC needs to come up huge tomrorow night. Glad we started to hit, hope that keeps up.

This series made me realize we need to go after Danks HARD this off season. Felix and JJ aren't going to be moved. Wilson and Darvish will cost too much. Danks shouldn't cost a Manny or Montero either.
