That's not entirely on point. Yes' date=' he's getting helped off the outer edge, but only against lefties. He's not getting the same treatment vs RHHs, which is fine. It's just the knees that has hurt him tonight, but despite having an odd zone, Rapuano has actually be relatively consistent.[/quote']

CC lives at the knees on the outside corner, especially with the change. Rapuano's zone has virtually eliminated that pitch since he cannot get ahead with the FB without leaving it down the cock

The ump's been a douche on both sides tonight. I have a feeling TV analysts are lying through their teeth when they say how much they respect umpires.

I think he's been equal, but I think he's hurt CC much more than Lackey thus far. Mostly because CC lives where this f*** isnt calling strikes

Well' date=' those 4 were in the budget, right?[/quote']

He gets through 6 and keeps it at 4, I'll gladly take it. One of 'em shouldn't have scored anyway.

Keep it at 2. CC can't last much longer.

Neither can Lackey. Would be nice if he could go 7 once in a while.

Pitch 1 to Cervelli was clearly a strike. Cervelli was literally on top of the plate faking the bunt, and the breaking ball crossed middle in. Should have been 2-2 which he wouldn't have had to serve up a cutter in the meat of the plate, and Cervelli wouldn't have gone deep.

He's hurt Lackey too, but you don't pay as much attention because you're focused on the offense.

Lackey is still the one that made the terrible 3-1 pitch ... he still is largely responsible for Cervelli's homer. But yes, the ump didn't help earlier in the count.

Tex and AdGon have been completely absent tonight

Yeap but A-God with the same medicine! Unacceptable given his caliber!

But Sabathia isn't responsible for not adjusting to the zone, or making better pitches instead of going deep into the count? Typical.

Haha where did I say he wasn't? Actually, in my last post about the strike zone I credited the ump, saying that the zone has been consistent.

Well the original post I was referring to was the one about the ump screwing CC harder than Lackey made by Jacko. I was just trying to say that he's screwing Lackey just as hard by putting both pitchers into hitters counts.
