Feel like a newbie asking this question

Hey guys, some of you may know that I am going to Boston for the weekend. My question is, what's nice things to go/do while your in Boston? I have never been to Boston before. Any good places to eat? I would like a feel for the city. If this is in the wrong forum, I apologize.

I said it in another thread, go to Fenway and take the tour. It is a f***ing bargain. You learn so much about the history of baseball. And it is so cool to walk around the stadium seeing things that you would not normally see while attending a game. Bring a camera!!!

 

Boston has a shitload of things to do and places to eat. Check out Fanuil Hall (SP) and Haymarket Square.

Right, but I'll be there from 9/1 - 9/6 when they host NYY and TEX. They go out of town on the 5th, so we can go then, but I didn't know about the other times.

Can't tell you how amped I am. Going to the Sox/Yanks on Thursday night, Sox/Rangers on Sunday, and now a tour on Monday. f***ing fantastic!

Grab lunch at Dino's in the north end. Small hole in the wall place, best lunch you can get in the North End. Try the Publick House in brookline too if you're looking for some beer/good food. The whole fenway area is pretty nice these days, take a walk around, ask some people where the rose gardens are. One of my favorite places in the city. Maybe check out the Christian Science Center/Prudential center. If you made a day out of that, it'd be a sweet day in Boston.

Bring plenty of money. It's a lot more expensive than when I was a kid a 100 years ago.
