So let's break down this lineup. Ellsbury in the leadoff spot- he's a legit MVP candidate. Lowry- Mr. Glass is batting 2nd. Batting 3rd is AGod, but he is in a power outage. Pedroia batting cleanup-He's a great player, but he is a midget. He must be the shortest cleanup hitter in 100 years. Batting 5th Reddick- a rookie. Batting 6th Crawford- He's in a terrible slump. Batting 7th Lavarnway-making his MLB debut. Batting 8th Varitek - a slumping fossil. Batting 9th Aviles- a utility player from KC.

 

We should score 10 tonight.

Ugh. Here comes Beckett's regression. Already see it. 2.77 ERA in 2nd half vs 2.27 ERA in 1st half. 1.02 WHIP in 2nd half vs 0.95 WHIP in first half.

 

I know nobody has talked about it, but after his start vs SEA, I can see how it could come up, and I wanted to debunk it before it came up.
